About Me:
Rock was my life in my late teens and early twenties, then kids, businesses, and life got in the way. I sold almost all of my equipment, and music just kind of faded into the background. When my son started playing music, I passed on my feeble knowledge to him, and it kind of got me back into it. From there, things blossomed, and now I'm in a gigging band again. Let's make a site for old guys that still play Rock and Roll.

Generational Rocking!

I'm Jeff and started this site as a test of Ning. Things are so easy to use and get started that I think I will start a real site for old rockers. Right now a bunch of the stuff on this site is tests of RSS feeds, etc. trying to see what will work best for the future.I'm sure there are many people out there like me. Let's band together, support and help each other. I'll continue to explore what Ning has to offer and make the community tools better and better (my day job is in software development).

This is a picture of a Telecaster getting fixed. Making music is more than half the fun, but dorking with the equipment is fun too!

Testing Out One More Aspect of Ning

I have a Wordpress blog at www.makeitbigingames.com and a couple at Blogger, monsterideas.blogpost.com for example. Both of those are powerful customizable blog solutions. I guess having blogs on this site is good, but I think I will explore using the RSS feeds off other sites instead.
